By AP         September 19, 2007    03:03:00 AM
REPSOL YPF GETS $15 BILLION GAS SUPPLY CONTRACT IN MEXICO

Spanish-Argentine oil company Repsol YPF said it had signed a $15 billion contract to supply natural gas to Mexico from its Peruvian operations.

Madrid-based Repsol said the 15-year contract worth 10.7 billion euros includes the supply of 67.5 billion cubic meters of gas, about twice Spain's annual consumption.

The gas exported will be shipped from the Camisea plant in southern Peru, Repsol said.
