- Venezuela’s proven gas reserves climb to 185 Tcf
Venezuela said its proven natural gas reserves have risen to 185.2 trillion cubic feet with the incorporation of 6.4 tcf found at a block in the Gulf of Venezuela that is to be exploited by Spain’s Repsol YPF and Italy’s Eni.
- ■ Ecopetrol names three new members to its Board of Directors
Ecopetrol S.A. announced that the Minister of Finance and Public Credit, Juan Carlos Echeverry; the Minister of Mines and Energy, Carlos Rodado; and the Director of the National Planning Department, Hernando Jose Gomez, were appointed as members of Ecopetrol's Board of Directors during yesterday's ordinary board meeting.
