- BPC impressed with 2D seismic results
BPC announced the preliminary results of its recently acquired 2D marine seismic program. The 194 km program was shot in June 2010 over the Company's southern licenses, which lie adjacent to Cuban waters, and was acquired using a long streamer (10.2 km) with data recorded to 8.5 seconds.

The Public Electricity Corporation (CDEEE) now under Celso Marranzini says it has reduced spending by RD$442 million a year and the payroll by 1,378 employees.
